Tournament Event Ticket Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions govern the purchase and use of event tickets for all tournaments, gatherings, and organized play activities hosted by our store. By completing a ticket purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the policies outlined below.
1. Refund Policy
1.1 Refunds may be requested up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled event start time.
1.2 All approved refunds will be subject to a 10% processing fee, deducted from the total refund amount.
1.3 Refunds will not be issued for any request made within 24 hours of the event.
1.4 Refunds will not be granted for any participant who is deemed a “no-show” as defined in Section 3.
2. Late Arrival Policy
2.1 Participants who anticipate being late must contact the store no less than 15 minutes before the event start time.
2.2 Failure to notify the store within this timeframe may result in the participant’s spot being reassigned to individuals on the event waitlist.
2.3 Once a participant’s spot has been reassigned, event entry and participation cannot be guaranteed, and no compensation will be provided.
3. No-Show Policy
3.1 A participant will be classified as a no-show if they fail to attend the event without providing prior notice as outlined in Section 2.
3.2 No-shows forfeit their registration fee in full, with no refund or credit issued under any circumstances.
3.3 No-shows are not eligible to receive any prizing, rewards, or participation benefits associated with the event, regardless of format.
4. Tax Compliance Policy - Billing Address Accuracy
4.1 All tournaments and events are held within the Province of Ontario, and all ticket purchases are subject to Ontario sales tax in accordance with applicable law.
4.2 Customers are required to provide accurate, complete, and truthful billing information at checkout.
4.3 The use of an incorrect, foreign, or intentionally misleading billing address—including attempts to circumvent tax obligations—is strictly prohibited.
4.4 The store reserves the right to:
a. Verify billing information provided at checkout;
b. Request additional documentation where necessary;
c. Cancel or refuse any order that appears inaccurate, fraudulent, or misleading;
d. Recover or adjust any applicable taxes that should have been applied.
4.5 Orders canceled due to fraudulent or misrepresented billing information may not be eligible for refund.
5. Agreement to Terms
By purchasing an event ticket, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:
5.1 All information provided during checkout is accurate and truthful;
5.2 They are responsible for payment of all applicable taxes under Ontario law;
5.3 Violation of these Terms and Conditions may result in cancellation of their order, forfeiture of fees, or restriction from future events.
